BEST FIGHT (Knife Fight)
So here we have a great little action film where a group of filmmakers is shooting a zombie film. The building is set to be demolished the very next day. As they continue their shoot they have a malfunction with one of their shots and particle dust ends up on the lens of the camera so the young woman who is shooting the film is cleaning her camera. She still has the camera on and through her viewfinder she sees something that is happening across the way in the other building and somebody is being tortured and then eventually then lit on fire. The gangsters across the way see that they have in fact been found out so they head over to the building where the film crew is and this is where the action really kicks in.
The fights scenes are a really fantastic highly skilled young man Jean-Paul Ly who plays Donnie he's an incredible martial artist and the choreography is quite amazing, there is a kill scene in here with a knife that is one of the most brutal kill scenes I remember in recent memory, and I actually had to rewind it and watch it again it was quite well pulled off. I love action movies and this one has both a fondness and love for movies and a great bunch of actors who are really convincing in the roles and the quote I will say from Gene Siskel is that your movie is only as good as your villain and that is pure truth here. If you like action movies and some good comedy and just really good filmmaking definitely check this one out.

Here's the story about Paul and his mother who he loves very dearly and it shows from the opening scene of the film where he's trying to do audition for a local talent show where he can win a big prize. She comes upstairs on her chair lift and asked if he would like tea cake. He works at a thrift store and one day when he's at work he forgets that his audition is that day he's only reminded by his coworker about it, so he panics, he runs home changes, grabs his mother who of course is his number one support system and off they go. He doesn't drive so he's pushing his mother through the streets of London and she needs to take her pills but they forgot her water so he stops and tries to get water from a local tea store. Paul is tied up because the man who owns the store restaurant wants to tell him the history of some tea.
They then try and go catch the train and the train doesn't have a ramp so they need assistance from the man on the platform. One thing leads to another they finally get to the event and because of everybody's incompetence his mother actually passes away and he is denied entry into the talent show. Paul then snaps and after that, he goes on a killing spree all the time airing it on almost as a YouTube channel and hilarity ensues. It's really quite a dark comedy this is the most fun I've had watching a movie in a long time maybe since Bye-Bye Morons at the Vancouver International Film Festival and Green Grass I saw a few years ago about a bunch of quirky neighbors.
